Mechanism of action of Griseofulvin :It Inhibits Fungal Cell Mitosis And Nuclear Acid Synthesis. It Also Binds To And Interferes With The Function Of Spindle And Cytoplasmic Microtubules By Binding To Alpha And Beta Tubulin.
Drug Interaction of Griseofulvin :Griseofulvin Is Known To Interact With Other Drugs Like Alcohol, Amorolfine, Aspirin, Bromocriptine (Mesylate), Cimetidine (HCl), Estradiol (Valerate), Estrogens Conjugated, Ethinyloestradiol, Ethynodiol (Diacetate).
Side effects of Griseofulvin :Angioedema, Nausea, Diarrhea, Urticaria, Severe Headache, Drug Eruptions, Cholestasis, Leprosy.
