Typical use Of Diclofenac :Diclofenac Is Used In The Treatment Of Painful Conditions Affecting The Joints And Muscles Such As Degenerative Joint Diseases (osteoarthritis), Autoimmune Diseases Of Joints (rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis) Lower Back Pain, Sprains Or Bone Fractures, Inflammation In And Around Joints (frozen Shoulder), Tendon Inflammation, Tendon Sheath Swelling, Pain And Inflammation Associated With Diseases Such As Gout, Pain And Swelling Following Skeletal Muscle, Dental And Other Minor Surgery.
Mechanism of action of Diclofenac :Diclofenac Works By Blocking The Effect Of Chemicals Called Cyclooxygenase Enzymes. These Enzymes Help To Make Other Chemicals In The Body, Called Prostaglandins. Prostaglandins Are Produced At Sites Of Injury Or Damage, And Cause Pain And Swelling. By Blocking The Effect Of Cyclooxygenase Enzymes, Production Of Prostaglandins Are Reduced, Thus, Pain And Swelling Are Eased. 
Drug Interaction of Diclofenac :Diclofenac Should Be Avoided In Combination With Lithium, Blood Thinning Agents Such As Warfarin, Cyclosporine, Mifepristone, Methotrexate, Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors, Other Pain Killers, Corticosteroids, Diuretics, Tacrolimus, Zidovudine, And Quinolone Antibiotic Drugs.
