Typical use Of Fenofibrate :To Lower The Levels Of Fats (lipids Such As Cholesterol And Triglycerides) In The Blood.
Mechanism of action of Fenofibrate :Fenofibrate Works By Activation Of Enzyme Lipoprotein Lipase That Increases The Breaks Down And Elimination Of Fats From Blood.
Drug Interaction of Fenofibrate :Taking Fenofibrate With An Anticoagulant (blood Thinner Such As Acenocoumarol, Anisindione, And Dicumarol) May Increase Bleeding. Fenofibrate Interacts With Statins (cerivastatin, Lovastatin, Pravastatin) And May Increase Muscular Disorder. It Is Also Known To Interact With Cyclosporine And Oesterogen Containing Contraceptives.
